Welcome



The Great Heart Society is a small, warm-hearted UK school for training in meditation and grass-roots Buddhism, aimed at people living regular daily and family lives. We're connected to the international Zen Peacemakers family, a very innovative multi-faith tradition that applies Zen teachings to social action and community development, and with High Mountain Crystal Lake Zen Community in New Jersey.

We share a vision of an underlying Unity and Interconnectedness in all aspects of our life and the world around us, and seek to recognise this and embody it as fully as possible through celebration and open-hearted service to all.

There are currently events throughout the year in Manchester and Leicester, and occasionally in Leeds.
